Bluto chose us, more than we chose him. While all of the other kittens played together, Bluto climbed the chicken-wire wall meowing at us; he continued meowing for the next few years!
He's now nearly 15 years old, and although he can draw blood when he wants to, he has definitely mellowed with age.
