2nd attempt
But then in late October 1999 I managed to get a Friday off work and I was determined to get that supercharger fitted. Armed with 10 quid's worth of industrial hose and my 25 quid custom pipe I had another go.
Again I changed the install around so that I was doing the elbow part first. As the flexible hose was a tight fit at both ends I had to assemble the whole lumpy snake on my bench (pasting table!) and fit it as one unit with Mary providing spare hands. Well, it fitted but as you'll see from the picture below it isn't pretty. The metal piece is short of room and the hose has too many bends. But I decided to press on.
